Nils-Martin Robeling

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Vienna, working with Sudeshna Boro Saikia in the Exoplanet Atmospheres Group. My research lies at the intersection of theoretical astrophysics, numerical modeling, and atmospheric science. In my spare time, I have a keen interest in classical and orchestral music.

Research Interests

* Numerical modeling: Developing, improving, and expanding numerical models of exoplanet atmospheres.

* Exoplanet atmospheres: Atmospheric chemistry, energy balance, dynamics, and their observational signatures.

* Gas giants: The physics and chemistry of hydrogen-dominated atmospheres, from Solar System giants to exoplanets.

Background

Before joining the Exoplanet Atmospheres Group, I worked as a research scientist and software engineer at Saab. I completed my BSc and MSc at Chalmers University of Technology, with a background spanning software engineering, complex adaptive systems, astrophysics, and numerical modeling.
